Goodbye America!

I can’t believe I am leaving the US! I knew this time would come soon, but I didn’t know when exactly. So my time in the USA is up, I have completed my 18 month contract and we decided not to renew as there was no more growth for me in the company. I had reached the highest role I could in the company, and there was no where left for me to grow. So I am going back to Australia to work on my career.

I am sad because I made a lot of friends here, and i wanted to start my life here, to make my time here a little bit more permanent. But having a good career is important, and being challenged and motivated at work is very important as well, but i worked at a small company and there was no where else for me to go.

So i am leaving the USA and my boyfriend and I will have a long distance relationship. Not the most ideal situation right now but we are from two different countries, and G is doing really well at work as well, so i want him to stay in the US and work on his career too.

I met some really awesome people here. I had so much fun in America. It was amazing! To start off my time here, i spent 1 month travelling around the USA with my girlfriends. Went to Hawaii, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Miami / Orlando then Vegas. It was amazing!

Then I met some amazing friends who I ended up being friends with for the rest of the time here! Also worked with amazing people and work mates became friends! I feel truly blessed to have met such great people, and even happier that I met my amazing boyfriend here. Things happen for a reason, and going back to Australia is what I need to do right now and I am just so happy I was able to come here and live here for the last 20 months!

Goodbye America.. we will meet again!
